Gargamel, a two-year-old American bulldog, is one of several dogs who were recently rescued from an unlicensed kennel in Placerville, California. Gargamel had been living in unsanitary conditions for several months. He weighed only 65 pounds, half the weight for a healthy dog his age.
Danya and Brent are known in their community as the “animal rescue folks,” so it was no surprise when a neighbor asked them to take in a tiny kitten who needed their help.
