It’s easy to remember to prepare for ourselves in case of an emergency, but what about our pets? Join RedRover in celebrating Pet Preparedness Month by setting aside emergency items that are often overlooked by pet owners.
In case of an emergency, prepare the following for your pet(s):
Do you remember the winter of 1997? It was marked by a record breaking El Nino event. Severe weather resulted in flooding in California and in the Southeast, an ice storm in the northeast and tornadoes in Florida. This year, the winter forecast predicts an even stronger El Nino event. Are you ready?

According to the National Hurricane Center, a hurricane watch is in effect from Grand Isle, Louisiana, east to Indian Pass, Florida, after Tropical Storm Karen formed in the Gulf of Mexico. Forecasters expect Tropical Storm Karen to be at or near hurricane-strength on Friday; the center of the storm is expected to arrive on Saturday.
