Domestic Violence Assistance Programs

Safe Escape

RedRover’s Safe Escape grant program offers survivors of domestic violence the support they need to get their pets out of harm’s way. We strive to keep the human-animal bond intact by offsetting the cost of temporary pet boarding while a client is in a domestic violence shelter.

Safe Housing

RedRover partners with the Sheltering Animals and Families Together (SAF-T) initiative to create more pet-friendly emergency shelter options for survivors of domestic violence. Our Safe Housing grants enable domestic violence shelters to create space for pets to live on-site with their owners in places where that option was previously unavailable.
