Our RedRover Readers program is designed to prevent animal cruelty by fostering empathy in children. I am here on the ground in Vero Beach, Florida, along with volunteer Team Leader Andy Bass, helping take care of dogs rescued from the dog meat trade in South Korea. The Humane Society of Vero Beach is graciously hosting these dogs, and is even taken on placing approximately 20 of these dogs.
This year, in honor of our 30th anniversary, pets of RedRover staff got in on the New Year's resolution fun with a few goals of their own:
