By Amelia Saris, Kind News™ Manager –
Since RedRover began publishing Kind News™ magazine in 2017, we’ve been lucky to have the loyalty of many sponsors and educators who come back to us year after year to get the magazine into children’s hands. This past spring, we launched a focused effort to bring the magazine to 30,000 more children in 2026! Due to the generosity of our supporters, we are well on our way to reaching that goal.
This made the feedback we received from our annual end-of-school-year survey all the more exciting to see.
We found that 99% of those who completed the survey would recommend Kind News to others!
But, that’s not all:

We were thrilled to hear feedback from these educators:
🐾 “My students are always happy when the next issue of Kind News arrives! They love animals and enjoy hearing about how other students find ways to help them. Kind News prompts discussions, may be used for comprehension, and simply provides reading material that students want to read.”
– Karen, 3rd-grade teacher, Agawam, Massachusetts
🐾 “I teach in a Title I school. Many of our students have limited experience with animals. This high-interest magazine gives students a look into many different types of animals and their caregivers. The magazine is also a welcome break from the daily curriculum, and students are excited when the new magazines arrive.”
– Laura, Grades 2-5, Lantana, Florida
🐾 “[Kind News] opens up so many interesting conversations and ideas in my class – I wouldn’t want to not have it included in our week. Most of my students don’t have the same opportunities as other students. They have not been to zoos or had pets to take care of. It is truly teaching them about care and compassion for living creatures.”
– Cristina, K-3rd Special Education Teacher, Victorville, California
We are so appreciative of the educators who took the time to give us their thoughtful feedback. Big congratulations to Katherine from Virginia and Shannon from Maine, winners of our participant drawing for a $100 gift card and an animal-themed book! Shannon told our team she “couldn’t wait” to spend the funds on supplies for her classroom.
