You’ve probably heard about Kind News™, RedRover’s magazine that inspires kids to be kind to animals and people around them. But what you may not know is that our dedicated sponsors make this important resource possible! With school dollars stretched thin now more than ever, we feel incredibly lucky for their support, year after year, to bring the magazine to children around the country.
Sometimes our supporters are part of a humane organization or club. Sometimes they are kind souls that want to make whatever difference they can. But they have one thing in common: a desire to help children understand, and build a bond with, animals.
We asked them why this cause is so important to them. Here is what they said:
“Teachers love [Kind News] because it is consistent and at no cost to them. The children get excited when the new packets arrive. Many bring it home to younger siblings. We also hand it out at special events. I can’t tell you how many times a child walks up and says he or she gets Kind News in the classroom. It means we are reaching our target audience and making a difference.”
– Melissa Korzuch, President, Prince William SPCA
“I have supported classrooms with Kind News magazine for over 20 years. It makes me feel great that I can have a small part in the positive impact on children and encourage kindness to animals!”
– Ann Livingston, Gulf Spring, Florida
“I sponsor classrooms with Kind News because I want kids to understand how to care for animals and that animals have feelings too! I also want kids to know that they can get love and understanding from animals in return. I think the magazine really helps with this.”
– Cyndi Law, Senecaville, Ohio
Last year, we reached more than 275,000 children with this resource, inspiring the next generation of change-makers who can continue making an impact for animals.
