What: Enjoy great beer for a great cause! RedRover, a local 501(3)(c) animal welfare nonprofit, is celebrating its 35th anniversary of helping animals and people in crisis with a special benefit at SacYard Community Tap House. During this event, $1 from every pint sold goes to RedRover’s lifesaving programs that provide emergency animal sheltering, disaster relief services, financial assistance for urgent veterinary care, and education. Bring your friendly pups and show your support for this Sacramento-based nonprofit while enjoying beer, new dog friends, and connection with fellow animal lovers!
Who: RedRover has called Sacramento home for 35 years and has been a lifeline for animals and their people in time of need. Known as the “Red Cross for animals,” they have responded to 245 crises and temporarily sheltered thousands of animals during the following:

Why: RedRover believes pets are family and is passionate about bringing animals from crisis to care. Not only does RedRover help in times of crisis through emergency sheltering, urgent care grants, and safe escape and safe housing grants, but they also work to prevent animal cruelty and neglect through humane education in and outside of the classroom.
