An angel gives Nike a second chance

In some cases, a special donation is needed to save an animal’s life. This is when we call upon our On-Call Angels.
When Nike, a one-year-old pit bull, swallowed a foreign object and needed urgent surgery to resection his intestines, his family was heartbroken. They didn’t have the funds to pay in full for the procedure, and they couldn’t imagine life without him.
“The joy he brings to my family is unmatched,” his mom told us. “Nike is what I look forward to every day.”
Carol Wolf, one of our On-Call Angels, stepped in to help. Thanks to Carol’s generous donation, Nike was able to get the lifesaving treatment he needed, and within days was showing major signs of improvement.
“You have no idea how much this means to us,” his family said after the surgery. “From the bottom of our hearts once again, thank you. RedRover is amazing!”
