Last week, we told you about the 150+ animals rescued from a North Carolina property. The animals were living in unsafe and unsanitary conditions, and needed help. Because people like you support RedRover, we were able to send emergency volunteers to the temporary shelter to begin providing immediate daily care to the rescued animals.
These animals are thriving under the care of the RedRover Responders volunteers! Here are some of the things the volunteers are providing:
Meals – Volunteers feed the animals food on a feeding schedule to give every animal the best nutrition
Water – Fresh water is provided for all of the animals throughout the day
Cleaning – Volunteers clean cages and kennels to ensure that all the cats and dogs are very comfortable
Socialization – Hands-on care means socialization for animals that may never have experienced human contact before
Miscellaneous tasks – RedRover Responders volunteers are ready for anything! They organize, stack/break down crates, document daily care and help with whatever tasks needed to keep the temporary shelter running smoothly for the animals
