RedRover recognizes The Chester Foundation as exceptional veterinary partner
Sacramento, CA (March 24, 2014) – The Chester Foundation, a nonprofit veterinary clinic dedicated to providing medical care for stray and disadvantaged pets, has been awarded RedRover’s Outstanding Veterinary Clinic Award for their exceptional work helping animals in 2013. The award recognizes the work of a veterinary clinic that has provided outstanding services for animals in crisis. This is the second time RedRover has issued the esteemed award.
RedRover presented the award to The Chester Foundation for helping animals like River, the companion dog of a homeless man living in Roseville, California. When River was hit by a car, his owner could not pay for the emergency treatment needed to save his pet’s life. When The Chester Foundation learned of River’s condition, they gathered support from donors and were able to fund the lifesaving treatment that River needed to survive. Today, River is recovering well and The Chester Foundation continues to help animals in need.
“The Chester Foundation has a history of going above and to provide quality care for animals that might not otherwise survive a veterinary emergency,” says RedRover Relief Program Manager Esperanza Zuniga. “Their dedicated service to the clients and animals they serve is remarkable, and RedRover recognizes that service with the Outstanding Veterinary Clinic Award.”
RedRover has presented The Chester Foundation with a recognition plaque to honor their commitment to caring for animals in crisis.
