GreatNonprofits.org award is based on positive online reviews from donors, clients and volunteers
SACRAMENTO, CA (August 3, 2015) – RedRover© announced today that it has been honored with a prestigious 2015 Top-Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations. This is the fifth year in a row that RedRover has received the award.
“We are thrilled to be named a Top-Rated 2015 Nonprofit,” says Nicole Forsyth, President and CEO of RedRover. “Our mission of bringing animals from crisis into care could not be achieved without our supporters. We are proud of our accomplishments this year, including sheltering numerous animals rescued from disaster and cruelty, helping pet owners that are facing financial challenges and working with teachers to help children develop empathy for animals. The Top-Rated Nonprofit award was based on the large number of positive reviews that RedRover received – reviews written by volunteers, donors and people we’ve helped through our programs.”
One supporter wrote, “I needed emergency surgery for my yellow Labrador, PrettyFace. RedRover responded to my application for assistance within 24 hours. Rachel the case manager was very kind, patient and compassionate regarding my dog and my situation. She was able to talk to my veterinarian’s office and get some funding for my dog’s surgery. RedRover was one of the only nonprofits that responded so quickly to my request and went the extra mile to help me out. I would recommend them to anyone. They are a VERY worthwhile organization to donate to or volunteer your time. They have inspired me to give back when I get back on my feet financially.”
“Savvy donors want to see the impact of their donations more than ever,” said Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonprofits. “People with direct experience with RedRover have voted that the organization is making a real difference.”
Being on the Top-Rated list gives donors and volunteers more confidence about nonprofit organizations’ credibility. The reviews by volunteers, clients and other donors show the impact of RedRover’s work that resulted in this community recognition award.
