RedRover is pleased to announce the release date for “Lucky Dog,” a new children’s book available from Scholastic. Available on January 28 for purchase wherever books are sold, royalties from the sales of “Lucky Dog” will benefit RedRover and its lifesaving animal programs.

“Lucky Dog: Twelve Tales of Rescued Dogs” is a collection of 12 stories that celebrates the human-animal bond. “We’re so excited to partner with Scholastic and the authors of ‘Lucky Dog,’” says Nicole Forsyth, President and CEO of RedRover. “RedRover aims to strengthen the bond between people and animals through our work, so this is an ideal partnership.”

For each copy of this book sold, royalties will be donated to RedRover to help animals in need through its lifesaving programs. Forsyth added, “Youth who are interested in animals will develop a deeper understanding of the significance of the human-animal bond after reading this book, and youth and their parents can feel even better knowing that the purchase of the book helps bring animals from crisis to care.”

“Lucky Dog” will be available for purchase January 28 wherever books are sold, including Amazon.com: www.RedRover.org/LuckyDogAmazon
