When Wolfie was found on a freeway five years ago, he could have been met with tragedy. Instead, he was taken in by cat mom Nicole; their bond was immediate:
“Wolfie is the best, nicest, most loving pet I have ever owned. He never bites, he is never grumpy, and he loves everyone and everything. He loves head pats and cuddles and he has never been mean to anyone in his whole life. He is my best friend and I just want him to not be in pain anymore.”
When Nicole saw that Wolfie had suddenly stopped eating, she took him to the vet, where he was diagnosed with stage four periodontal disease. He would need several teeth extracted, as well as comprehensive cleaning to hopefully prevent the need for more extractions down the line. While this unexpected expense was out of Nicole’s budget, she got to work straight away looking for ways to pay for the procedure. She came across the RedRover Relief Urgent Care grants program and submitted an application for Wolfie. When his application was approved, Wolfie’s surgery went smoothly and he was sent home to recuperate with lots of love from Nicole.
Thank you for helping beloved pets like Wolfie get the care they need!
