At the end of October, I had the pleasure of attending the Sacramento SPCA’s 80s Prom, a truly unforgettable event. The venue was transformed into a vibrant 80s wonderland, complete with neon lights, retro decorations, and a great band playing covers of all the greatest hits.
The energy was palpable, thanks in large part to the volunteers and staff who were dressed to the nines in their most outrageous 80s attire. It was inspiring to see their dedication to the cause, and their commitment to helping animals in need.
I had the opportunity to tour the SPCA’s facilities and was impressed by the clean, well-maintained environment. The animals were clearly well-cared for and loved by all of the workers whose lives they touched. It was heartwarming to see so many people come together to support these animals, and give them a second chance at a happy life.
The event featured a silent auction, delicious food, and live music. But the real stars of the show were the adoptable pets. Each one had a unique story and a loving personality. It was clear that these animals were eager to find their forever homes: Like Robin the pomeranian and schipperke mix and Lylla the Alaskan husky and corgi mix.
As a sponsor of the event, I was proud to represent RedRover for the first time and support the Sacramento SPCA’s mission. By working together, we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of animals and people in our community.
