RedRover Responders stand at the ready to provide emergency animal sheltering assistance to the animals displaced by wildfires burning in Shasta County, if our help is needed and requested. Our hearts go out to all the people and animals impacted, and we honor everyone assisting with rescuing and caring for the animals. Here is a list of currently available emergency animal shelters and resources in California.

Sheltering and/or veterinary care
- UPDATE: Golden Gate Veterinary Compounding Pharmacy is offering 30 days of FREE pet medication to people affected by any of the CA wildfires. This offer is available for those that have lost their pets’ medications in the fires, have had to leave their pets’ medications due to evacuation orders and/or if their pet is starting medication due to a fire related illness or injury. All medication must have a valid prescription from a CA licensed Veterinarian. For more information, call 888-855-6337.
