Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control in Indiana sponsors 500 classroom subscriptions of our kids’ magazine Kind News, and they’re hearing “nothing but positive feedback” from teachers and students. Holly Pasquinelli, Fort Wayne’s Community Relations & Education Specialist, tells us:
Kind News has been such a wonderful resource for us to reach hundreds of children in our community. We currently sponsor 500 subscriptions and have heard nothing but positive feedback about the publication. Students love the pictures, stories and games and teachers love the learning opportunities found in each issue. We love how Kind News lets us spread our message of empathy through animals to so many children in our community.
We also love the innovative ways teachers are using Kind News. In one school, teachers pair a third grader with a kindergartner to read the issues together. Others have created worksheets students complete as they work their way through the latest Kind News article – we hear it’s their favorite homework assignments!
