We are thrilled to announce that the royalties from a new children’s book from Scholastic, Lucky Dog, will benefit RedRover.
Our Lucky Dog Facebook contest is now closed.
Lucky Dog: Twelve Tales of Rescued Dogs is a collection of 12 stories that celebrates the human-animal bond. “We’re so excited to partner with Scholastic and the authors of Lucky Dog,” says Nicole Forsyth, President and CEO of RedRover. “RedRover aims to strengthen the bond between people and animals through our work, so this is an ideal partnership.”
For each copy of this book sold, royalties will be donated to RedRover and its lifesaving animal programs. Forsyth added, “Youth who are interested in animals will develop a deeper understanding of the significance of the human-animal bond after reading this book, and youth and their parents can feel even better knowing that the purchase of the book helps bring animals from crisis to care.”
Lucky Dog will be available by pre-order through booksellers like Amazon or you can look for Lucky Dog at a Scholastic book fair near you!
Lucky Dog will be available wherever books are sold in February 2014.
