Happy Ending: Pete

When Cathy’s beloved beagle, Pete, was diagnosed with a life-threatening hernia, she turned to RedRover for help. Because of her husband’s illness and ongoing medical bills, the family budget was very tight and Cathy was unable to afford the entire cost of Pete’s surgery. Thanks to extra support from one of RedRover’s On-Call Angels, we were able to quickly approve a RedRover Relief grant for financial assistance and Pete was able to get the surgery he needed to save his life. Cathy later wrote, “RedRover jumped in right away holding my hand all the way. These people are truly angels…Thank you RedRover!” Pete has now recovered and is enjoying his time back at home with the family.
