Happy Ending: Frijolito

When Frijolito (Spanish for “little bean”) developed bladder stones and needed emergency surgery to remove them, Alejandra, who was unemployed at the time, knew she could not afford the entire cost of his surgery. Determined to save her beloved family member, Alejandra contacted RedRover for help. We provided a RedRover Relief grant and her “little bean” was able to get the surgery he desperately needed. After receiving the grant Alejandra wrote to RedRover, “Thank you so much for the help! Thankfully I was able to get him the surgery; otherwise he would not have made it. Once I am financially stable I will donate to RedRover to help other animals in need. I’m beyond thankful.” Frijolito is now healthy and back to enjoying life at home!
