At this time, the Safe Housing grant is only available to nonprofit domestic violence and animal organizations. If you are not qualified to apply, you are still welcome to request this information to pass along to a qualified organization.
** In 2024 we will piloting a grant program for homeless shelters to apply for Safe Housing funds. This grant will only be available through the March 1, 2024 deadline. **
Example: We’d like to make pet friendly rooms at our domestic violence shelter; We’d like to build/refurbish kennels for pets of domestic violence survivors at our animal rescue; We’d like to combine kenneling and fostering for the pets of domestic violence survivors
