Meet Captain!

With his striking eyes, one blue and one green, Captain’s family fell in love with him as soon as they brought the soft white kitten home.
When Captain went missing, his owner Hayde went out to look, but did not find him that day. When Captain found his way home two days later, he was in bad shape. His pelvis had been fractured, and after a trip to the vet, they learned that his leg needed to be amputated. With one member of the family recently laid off from work, their family was relying on just one income, leaving little room for sudden emergencies like Captain’s surgery. When their veterinarian told them about the RedRover Relief Urgent Care grant, Captain’s family applied and two days later, Captain had a successful surgery.
