October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

As we head into Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, we have so much to share! Purina is working to drive awareness of the Purple Leash Project in several exciting ways! First, they’ll return to the Variety Power of Women Awards in Los Angeles this month to honor TV personality, bestselling author, podcast host and survivor Paige DeSorbo with the Variety Courage Award, presented by Purina, for her powerful advocacy for survivors of abuse. Then, on October 10, Purina will highlight the Purple Leash Project throughout the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team vs. Spain match, which airs on TBS and HBO Max at 2:30 p.m. ET.
Purina is also working to raise funds for the Purple Leash Project. Now through November 15, for every purchase of a specially marked package of Purina pet food, treats, or litter, they will donate 5 cents to RedRover, up to $500,000! And Purina continues to offer the Courageous Together Collection, with limited-edition items for people and pets, at Shop.PurpleLeashProject.com. One hundred percent of every purchase goes to RedRover through the Purple Leash Project, helping create more pet-friendly spaces for survivors and their pets.
