“You kept Saszee’s family together!”
Just after Stefanie and her family moved to a new house, they found a sweet kitten inside a box that had been left in a nearby field. They named the white and tabby kitten Sazsee, and loving on her helped Stefanie and her family heal through a recent loss in their family.
One day, Sazsee wasn’t her usual snuggly self, prompting Stefanie to take her to the vet. The vet diagnosed Sazsee with pyometra, a serious infection in the uterus. The treatment for pyometra – a spay surgery to remove her uterus – needed to be done urgently.
When they’d found Saszee, Stefanie had already planned to get her spayed – the family was just waiting on their spay voucher to arrive in the mail. With their recent move, the family’s savings had been depleted, leaving them anxious about how they would pay for the surgery Saszee needed.
Thanks to your generous support, Saszee was able to receive her spay surgery, and went home to her family soon after. Stefanie shared with us:
“We wanted to send our gratitude for the generous grant that helped save Saszee’s life. Surgery went well and she’s recovering great! She’s almost back to her normal self. 🙂 We are so grateful. Again, thank you so much for your generosity!”
Thank you for making lifesaving care possible for beloved pets like Saszee!
