“Thanks to you, Mango is back home with his family!”
From the day Mango and his sister Kiwi were adopted from their local shelter, they were showered with love by Alexis, her husband, and their two children.
The handsome and “lappy” orange tabby loved cuddling and playing with Alexis’ children, and had even begun to play with the family’s shepherd dog – when the two of them weren’t competing for attention.
One day, Alexis noticed that Mango seemed to be having trouble urinating, and she took him to the veterinarian. At the visit, Mango was diagnosed with bladder stones too large for him to pass, which would require a surgery, called a cystotomy, to remove them.
Alexis knew that they had to make the surgery happen, but the family’s finances were tight at the moment, with only Alexis working while her husband finished school. When she searched online for financial resources, Alexis found the RedRover Relief Urgent Care grant and applied straight away. Soon after, Mango had his procedure and went home to his family for some much-needed TLC.
Thank you for giving cherished pets like Mango the greatest gift of all – more time with the people who love them! None of this would be possible without your generosity.
