- The Shelby Humane Society: Provides low cost vaccine clinics and low cost spay-neuter program, as well as emergency medical care on a case-by-case basis through new Pet Retention Program. Also offers FREE boarding and medical care for pets belonging to victims of domestic violence through Shelby SafePet Program.

- Humane Society of the Ozarks: Provides vouchers for low cost spay/neuter and emergency veterinary care. Also provide education and resources for seniors with pets who are moving to nursing homes or assisted living facilities.

- Starfleet Canine Aid Foundation: For dogs only.

- Mountains' Humane Society: Offer low cost vaccines, spay/neuter and pet food bank to low income families.

- The ACME Foundation: Offers assistance to seniors and disabled caregivers. Must be receiving treatment from Clearlake Veterinary Clinic.

- Animal Rescue Foundation: ARF Emergency Medical Fund, Pets for Vets, FoodShare.
- Los Angeles Area: Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange and Ventura Counties
- Actors and Others for Animals: Also offers assistance with spay/neuter.
- Los Angeles Area: Riverside and San Bernardino Counties
- Animal Friends of the Valleys: Offer assistance for medical procedures, spay/neuter and microchipping. May be able to provide transportation assistance for those looking to spay or neuter their pets.

- H.E.L.P. (A Home For Every Living Pet): Provides financial assistance to adopters of L.A. City shelter animals that are sick, injured or elderly. Call 310-521-0346 or email helppets12@gmail.com.
- Sam Simon Foundation: NO EMERGENCY FUNDS. Offers free non-orthopedic surgical procedures for families with total household income of less than $40,000 per year, call 888.364.7729.

- Animal Health Foundation -The Angel Fund: For client to apply, clinic must be enrolled and have a Southern California Veterinary Medical Association (SCVMA) member on staff.

- Herman Bennett Foundation: Offers free spay/neuter for feral cats trapped in Ventura and Los Angeles counties and financial assistance for spay/neuter to qualified, low-income applicants.

- Animal Health Foundation - The Mary Edna Boydston Fund: Must be 65 or over, or permanently disabled.

- Max's Helping Paws Foundation: COVID-19 related assistance through Chestnut's Crisis Fund, still only in Monterey County.

- Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch, Senior Citizen Pet Wellness - Napa county: Helps seniors with basic pet care, food, veterinary care. Also offer spay/neuter assistance in Sonoma, Solano, Mendocino, and Lake Counties.

- Palo Alto Humane Society - Pet Emergency Treatment (PET): Help is for individuals, and Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) is for rescuers who face major veterinary rehabilitation costs for homeless animals.

- Placer SPCA - SOS Program: Also offers assistance with pet food, temporary boarding and rental deposits.

- The Chester Foundation: Provide support through no-interest loans and grants for emergency veterinary care of stray and disadvantage pets. Funds are paid directly to participating 24/7 emergency hospital in the greater Sacramento/Placer County region.

- PAWS San Diego: Provides essential pet services such as pet food and supplies, assistance with veterinary costs and transportation to vet appointments to low-income families in San Diego county.

- Mohnacky Animal Hospitals - Helping PAWS: Provides financial assistance to military members at three practice locations.
- San Francisco
- The Shanti Project's - PAWS program: include a pet food bank, financial assistance for veterinary care, in-home animal care, transportation and emergency foster care and grooming. May be able to provide home delivery of pet food and supplies.
- San Francisco Aid For Animals: Must use a San Francisco Veterinary Medical Association vet.
- San Francisco SPCA: Also offers affordable spay/neuter and discounted vet services for seniors.

- STARelief and Pet Assistance - Home for Life Grant: Provides financial assistance grants and resources to pet owners who are unable to pay for routine and emergency veterinary care, emergency shelter and hospice care for their animals.
