- The Shelby Humane Society - provides low cost vaccine clinics and low cost spay-neuter program, as well as emergency medical care on a case-by-case basis through new Pet Retention Program. Also offers FREE boarding and medical care for pets belonging to victims of domestic violence through Shelby SafePet Program.

- The ACME Foundation - offers assistance to seniors and disabled caregivers. Must be receiving treatment from Clearlake Veterinary Clinic.

- Los Angeles Area: Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange and Ventura Counties
- Actors and Others for Animals - also offers assistance with spay/neuter.
- Los Angeles Area
- H.E.L.P. (A Home For Every Living Pet) - provides financial assistance to adopters of L.A. City shelter animals that are sick, injured or elderly. Call 310-521-0346 or email helppets12@gmail.com.
- Sam Simon Foundation - NO EMERGENCY FUNDS. Offers free non-orthopedic surgical procedures for families with total household income of less than $40,000 per year, call 888.364.7729.

- Animal Health Foundation: Angel Fund and Boydston Senior Fund - for client to apply, clinic must be enrolled and have a Southern California Veterinary Medical Association (SCVMA). For Boydston Senior Fund, must be 65 or over, or permanently disabled

- Herman Bennett Foundation - offers free spay/neuter for feral cats trapped in Ventura and Los Angeles counties and financial assistance for spay/neuter to qualified, low-income applicants.

- Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch, Senior Citizen Pet Wellness Napa county - helps seniors with basic pet care, food, veterinary care. Also offer spay/neuter assistance in Sonoma, Solano, Mendocino, and Lake Counties.

- Palo Alto Humane Society: Pet Emergency Treatment (PET) - help is for individuals, and Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) is for rescuers who face major veterinary rehabilitation costs for homeless animals.

- Placer SPCA: SOS Program - also offers assistance with pet food, temporary boarding and rental deposits.

- Paws in Need - also helps with spay/neuter.
- San Diego Area
- San Diego Humane Society - provides essential pet services such as pet food and supplies, assistance with veterinary costs and transportation to vet appointments to low-income families in San Diego county.

- Mohnacky Animal Hospitals: Helping PAWS - provides financial assistance to military members at three practice locations.

- The Shanti Project's: PAWS program - include a pet food bank, financial assistance for veterinary care, in-home animal care, transportation and emergency foster care and grooming. May be able to provide home delivery of pet food and supplies.
- San Francisco Aid For Animals - must use a San Francisco Veterinary Medical Association vet.
- San Francisco SPCA - also offers affordable spay/neuter and discounted vet services for seniors.
- VET SOS - a volunteer-based project providing free veterinary care for the companion animals of homeless San Franciscans.

- Santa Cruz SPCA: Dr. Jean's Senior Friends - provides two preventative care clinics per year, and veterinary care assistance grants for seniors.

- Thomas Veterinary Service: Elder Pet Care - provides sliding scale discounts to clients age 60 and over. Services are available for non-seniors at affordable prices as well.

- Denkai Sanctuary - offers subsidized services by their veterinary clinic.

- The Street Dog Coalition - provides free veterinary care and related services to pets of people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

- Connecticut Humane Society: Fox Memorial Clinic - subsidized services, emergency vet care. Also offers free wellness clinic for pets of senior citizens.
- STARelief and Pet Assistance: Home for Life Grant - provides financial assistance grants and resources (including pet food pantry) to pet owners who are unable to pay for routine and emergency veterinary care, emergency shelter and hospice care for their animals.
