Los Angeles Area: Riverside and San Bernardino Counties Animal Friends of the Valleys Offer assistance for medical procedures, spay/neuter and microchipping. May be able to provide transportation assistance for those looking to spay or neuter their pets.

Sacramento and Placer Counties The Chester Foundation  Provide support through no-interest loans and grants for emergency veterinary care of stray and disadvantage pets. Funds are paid directly to participating 24/7 emergency hospital in the greater Sacramento/Placer County region.
