United States
American Humane  Second Chance Fund  For rescue organizations and shelter professionals.
American Veterinary Charitable Fund  Application must be submitted by veterinarian, grants are available to AVCF members only.
Brown Dog Foundation  National assistance with life-sustaining prescription medications, other assistance in IA, IL and TN only.
Dylan's Hearts Application must be submitted by veterinary office.

The Gift of Sunshine The Gandalf Fund  Financial assistance for working or retired assistance dogs.

Ian Somerhalder Foundation (ISF) Emergency Medical Care Grant for Animals For rescue organizations and individual rescuers; urgent, non-routine veterinary care due to abuse and neglect for recently rescued animals
International Association of Assistance Dog Partners (IAADP)  Guide, hearing or service dogs. Application must be submitted by veterinarian, grants are available to IAADP members only.

Pit Bulls Against Misinformation  For dogs only, not breed specific. 
R.A.C.E. Provides transport services to help displaced animals find new homes and can also provide financial assistance for various medical needs on a case-by-case basis.
Red Flyer, The Handicapped Pets Community  Accepts used wheelchairs, refurbishes them and loans them at no charge to families of handicapped pets in need.
Semper Fi Fund Tim & Sandy Day Canine Companions The Semper Fi Fund provides immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post 9/11 wounded, critically ill and injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, and their families, ensuring that they have the resources they need during their recovery and transition back to their communities.
Tripawds Foundation Amputation Surgery Assistance Program (ASAP)
Veterinary Care Foundation  Application must be submitted by a member of the foundation.
Violet's Friends NO EMERGENCY FUNDS. 
The Wag! Community Pet Surgery Donation Program Helps with fundraising for emergency medical procedures that cost more than $2,000. Must have a crowdfunding campaign already setup. For dogs only at this time.
 
Emotional Support
In Defense of Animals: Animal Activist Helpline  Helps animal advocates deal with compassion fatigue, burnout, and secondary trauma caused by the tragedy-filled nature of their noble work. This is free, anonymous phone and e-counseling for activists, by activists. Counselors are trained in nonviolent communication techniques and most are professional therapists and coaches. Call 1(800) 705-0425 or email helpline@idausa.org.
