![If you have rescue needs or know someone who needs rescue response in an affected area, please direct them to the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) in the county where the rescue is needed. The OEM is the government unit that coordinates emergency response, and they need to know about dire situations involving animals. They are the ones with the resources and the authority to coordinate rescues; and if they don’t have the resources, the OEM should send that request up to the state’s OEM.⠀⠀You can find out contact info for the applicable OEM by googling “[county where rescue is needed] office of emergency management.”⠀⠀More pet disaster resources here: www.RedRover.org/HurricaneHarvey](http://redrover.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/1504029486.jpg)
